Think of fusible interlining, horsehair cloth and bridal laminate. Fusible interlining can be from the Vilene brand. These have a glue coating which melts when heated with the iron. Vilenes are woven or non woven. All other (non vilene) interlinings in our assortment are woven. Vilene is a brand name. So Vilene is interlining but not all interlinings are Vilene&#8230;\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFusible interlining of coat interfacing is used in jackets for men or women, blazers and coats \/ overcoats. If you compare them to the more common fusible interlinings they are mostly sturdier.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nHorsehair is an interlining that you sew into a garment by hand, in Dutch it is called &#8220;pikeren&#8221;. An old-fashioned technique with beautiful results. And not every horsehair cloth has horse hair in the raw material, they are also available with wool or goat hair&#8230;\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBridal laminate, on the other hand, is not found in blazers, but in bridal wear or cocktail wear. Imagine a dress with a bodice that is sturdy and keeps it&#8217;s shape. Often they are made with boning just like a corset.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 46px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">&nbsp;<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paardenhaar-tussenvoering\"><strong>Horsehair cloth interlining<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe interlinings in the horsehaircloth category are the horsehair and woolhair types. All hair cloth interlinings are made of composite raw materials, but they all contain hair, from horses, goats or sheep, usually in combination with cotton and viscose and a few percent synthetic material.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFor ladies, the more supple types such as wool hair and the thin horsehair cloth interlining are more suitable. The heavier horsehair is a real men&#8217;s horsehair. Usually you sew the bridal laminate between the fabric and the lining of the dress. So you don&#8217;t wear it directly on the skin.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nDepending on the shape of the garment, boning is also applied. We sell these in sew-on and inserted boning. When you are making a corset or wedding dress, we recommend the spiral boning. Maak je een blouse en moet het wat soepeler maar toch stevig genoeg dan is de gewone plakkatoen (G700) de juiste keuze. De plakbaar volumevlies bijvoorbeeld zou je onder plakdoek (manteldoek) kunnen scharen maar hij past beter onder Volumevlies waar je ook de watteline vindt. Kragenvilt daarintegen past eigenlijk in geen enkele categorie. Kijk op de infosheet hoe de soort geplakt moet worden en houd die tijd ook aan,&nbsp;haast&nbsp;geeft een slecht resultaat.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nJe bent dus wel even bezig als je vlieseline opbrengt, heb je de neiging tot haast probeer dan eens af te wisselen. Bijvoorbeeld: 1 pand uit je vlieseline knippen, dat opplakken. Terwijl het net geplakte pand rustig ligt af te koelen op de strijkplank knip je het beleg uit vlieseline en zo voort, je zult zien dat je dan rustiger werkt&#8230;\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns: 25% auto;\">\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"367\" height=\"290\" class=\"wp-image-65 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/beautyvof.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/bouten.jpg\" alt=\"Zolen van strijkbouten\" srcset=\"https:\/\/beautyvof.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/bouten.jpg 367w, https:\/\/beautyvof.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/bouten-300x237.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 367px) 100vw, 367px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nVlieseline opplakken met een stoomstrijkijzer is geen goed idee, door de vele gaatjes in de zool plak je de Vlieseline niet op elke plaats vast maar blijven er stukjes ongeplakt.\r\nDe oplossing is een persbout of plakpers kopen. Een persbout heeft wel stoomgaatjes maar alleen vlakbij de punt van de bout. Over het algemeen is een persbout zwaarder dan een stoomstrijkijzer maar dat helpt juist met het opplakken van Vlieseline. Met een plakpers plak je een pand in 1 keer.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 46px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">&nbsp;<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 id=\"h-strijkijzer-zonder-gaatjes\" class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Strijkijzer zonder gaatjes<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nZe worden bijna niet meer verkocht, maar een gewone simpele strijkbout zonder stoomgaatjes (de goedkoopste versie die er bestaat) is prima voor het plakken van vlieseline. Je moet dan zelf wel wat meer op de bout leunen om de goede druk te krijgen.
