Welke naalden gebruik je bij welke stoffen en welke garensoort past daar het beste bij? Dat is afhankelijk van een aantal factoren waaronder o.a. je eigen voorkeur. Zo zijn wij een groot fan van seralon universeel naaigaren van Amann Group Mettler en Alterfil naaigaren. Amann Group Mettler heeft vele prachtige garens van hoogwaardige kwaliteit, je kunt niet mis met dit merk!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-topstitch-doorstikken\">Topstitch &#8211; doorstikken<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Doorstikken doen we meestal met dikker garen en daarbij past dan de topstitch naald want die heeft een groter oog zodat het garen beter door glijdt. Ook de grondstof van de stof die je gebruikt kan een leidraad zijn bij de keuze van garen. Heb je een zijden stof dan wil je wellicht zijde garen. Zo ook bij katoen. Kleermakers werken nog vaak met katoenen garen.  En er is ook naaigaren dat van katoen en polyester is, polycore cotton denim doc. Gemaakt voor denim \/ jeans maar ook mooi voor doorstikken van andere stoffen. Hij heeft een polyester kern voor de stevigheid en is omsponnen met katoen dus ziet hij er katoenig en mat uit met de sterkte van polyester.
