Why 65/09?
Fabrics are getting thinner these days so thinner needles are needed. The superstretch special sewing machine needles HAx1SP in 65/09 are made for super fine stretch fabrica like microfaser. If you have sewn microfaser before you probably noticed the needle does not go through the fabric easily. If that is the case, we try the thin superstretch needle 65/09!
Superstretch special needles info
Superstretch special sewing machine needles are suitable for sewing elastic fabrics, thin leather and are practical in the overlocker. The system is HAx1SP but they fit in household sewing machines that normally use system 130/705 H needles. The HAx1SP fits perfectly. What are the advantages of this needle?
Advantages of the superstretch special sewing machine needle
The SCHMETZ Super Stretch needle comes close to the take up lever (that picks up the thread at the bobbin)thanks to the special shaft. This flat shaft helps the machine to pick up the thread easier. This prevents skipped stitches even when sewing super-elastic materials like lycra and other stretch fabrics. The special shaft design also helps to prevent needle breakage and your stitches will become straighter. The needles eye is a little larger than with universal needles and the thread groove is wider. Therefore you cvan sew with a thicker thread. The thread is transported through the needle easier which prevents breaking of your thread
Needle point of the Special super stretch naaimachinenaald

The medium ballpoint is suitable for all types of knitted fabrics because the tip will push the threads aside and not go through them. A knitted fabric can get a run, just like a pantyhose. How can you recognise the superstretch needle? There is a white ring at the top of the needle
A superstretch special needle is a great replacement for a stretch sewing machine needle, especially when sewing with a thicker thread

When your leather is thick the leather needle will work fine but thin leather or plastic is another matter. Then we choose a sturdy needle like superstretch 75 or 90. Depending on the thickness of your material you use number 75 or 90…
