Our sewing tape with weight has a new look. The new version remains 2m long but instead of round the weight is square… It has a little less weight but is still heavy enough to hang straight down!
The new version of the sewing tape with weight is the same price than the old one with the round weight. Sadly we could not buy new stock because the price would become twice as much. These sewing tapes are not the cheapest to begin with so we have found a solution with this new sewing tape with weight!
How to use the new sewingtape with weight
As the name suggests this sewing tape has a weight on one end. Because of this weight the sewing tape will hang down straight. Therefore you can easily measure side length, skirt length, coat length etc.
When you measure skirt length you always start from the waist. But with a coat you can choose your starting point. From the wasist works fine, would you like to measure the whole coat, do that on the back. Stand in front of the mirror and hold the sewing tape at the point where the neckline of the back piece starts. Mostly that is on the lump in your neck…
Are you taking measurements on other for work? When you want to measure professionally you will certainly want to order the new sewingtape with wight.
