Clover sewing gauge
The Clover sewing gauge is made of metal in silver and red. Because of the high contrast between the red and silver color the gauge is suitable for people who have trouble with their sight. And it has all the measurements you need when sewing!
Henny says about the new Clover sewing gauge:
The red color on the gauge contrasts wonderfully against the fabric when your fabric is light in color. But also visible on dark fabric. Even on red fabric because of the contrast with the silver. The gauge works great for me! Despite my eye problems I can sew with joy, because I don’t have a problem reading the numbers and wondering if the measurement is correct. Not just the numbers are handy, but also the rectangular whole for marking buttonholes. Place the red line against the center front and mark the buttonhole exactly a couple of millimeters from center front. Right where the buttonhole should be. A buttonhole always leaves a bit of room for the thread that attaches the button, so that the buttons are attached precisely on center front. For me the clover sewing gauge has become my bestie in my workspace. The measurements on the Clover sewing gauge:

For what do you use the measurements?
For example the 1,5 cm measurement can be used to mark seam allowances. But the 4 or 5 cm measurement is more of a bottom seam measurement. What about using the 1 cm measurement to measure the distance of buttonholes to the edge? Etcetera. For buttonholes up to 2 cm long, the Clover sewing gauge has a rectangular hole. Nice and easy to mark!
