Tapes
Onder bandsoorten vallen bandjes van vlieseline. Maar ook in te naaien band voor paardehaar pand of in de naad.
Vlieselineband is band wat je opstrijkt. En je gebruikt het bijvoorbeeld in de zoom. Er is zoomband voor gewone stoffen.
Maar heb je een stretch stof dan gebruik je de versie voor rekbare stretchstoffen want daarmee blijft je zoom meerekken.
Er is ook vlieselineband voor in naden. Naadband en kantenband en voor de stretchstoffen heb je flexibel naadband.
Speciaal voor ronde naden zoals hals en armsgat is er een speciaal band dat vormband heet.
Bandjes die je in naait
Naast de in te strijken vlieseline bandsoorten zijn er ook bandjes zonder lijm coating.
Die naai je mee in de naad (veterband). Of naai je met de hand over je paardenhaarpand heen: pasband, neggenband of stiband.
Voor heren is er speciaal band voor in de pantalon,stootband voor de zoom en pantalonband voor in de tailleband.
En in de bruidskleding wil je misschien lusjesband, dat gebruik je middenachter met al die kleine knoopjes op je bruidsjurk.

How to use Vilene interlining for a waistband
Reinforcing a waistband with vilene interlining. When your waistband is in the shape of the garment and not a straight piece of fabric, choose suitable type of interlining and sew in a lace tape to prevent stretching. Or when you use a stretch fabric you can apply a stretch vilene interlining to keep it stretching!
